Social Studies Project: Black History Month

  1. Students have been assigned a famous African American
  2. Students will research this figure both at home and at school
  3. Students will write a Biography to go along with their project
  4. Students will create a visual aid to assist them when they present their famous American

Civil War Brochure

  1. Students will conduct their research during their weekly library period
  2. This project is a culmination of the civil war unit we have recently finished in class

4th Marking Period

  1. Students have finished their WWI and WWII units of study in the classroom.
  2. Students will be entering the late 60’s in American History. 
  3. Students will learn about the Civil Rights Movement, The Korean War, many other important events that mark American History up to the current date
